
Expressive Connections' Play and Learning Success (PALS) program is designed to pair children with a play pal to play, develop and practice social skills and self-regulation, with a facilitator, in a fun and natural setting.
This program helps children in growing interpersonal skills and friendships. It is specially designed for those that may be experiencing challenging social situations on play dates, in school, or on the playground. Through the program, children will learn and practice social skills that enable them to make and keep friends. Specific goals are set for each child, often targeting skills such as:

Dealing with transitions
Frequency: 5-week program meeting 1x/week
45 minutes with facilitator | families may extend time independently if they choose
Location: Clinic or a local park, which will be set for each individual group dependent on the time of the meeting.
Time: Times are set based on participant and therapist availability. We work with the participants to find the best time for all!
Price: $500 for the entire program
Equipment: The facilitator may bring some materials and playground equipment may be utilized. Families are encouraged to bring preferred toys and games from home to increase the child’s comfort.
